    Brett Lopez is responsible for assisting senior architects with administrative duties such as as-built drawings and redlined corrections. He ensures that all construction documents are in compliance with architectural standards and policies. Brett is also responsible for performing on-site analysis and conducting building surveys.

    Brett Lopez has been a part of Lopez Architects for 7 years. His strengths are in design analysis, and project research. He is skilled in utilizing computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare presentation drawings, schematic design sketches, and 3D renderings.   • OPERATIONS MANAGER/EXPEDITER- CITLALY A. LEPE-DIAZ

    Citlaly A. Lepe-Diaz is responsible for ensuring that building permits for each architectural project gets cleared with all city departments. She specializes in code and zoning consulting as well as expediting the clearance approval process. Additionally, she manages and updates contracts, tracks and files invoices, and is in charge of overseeing systems related to operations, scheduling, and marketing.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Experienced in handling all phases of the permit filing process, Citlaly A. Lepe-Diaz specializes in ensuring that all projects comply with building codes and zoning guidelines of local, state and federal regulations. She is an expert in coordinating all permit submission requirements, leading projects through the process of dealing with the Departments of Building and Safety, Planning, Bureau of Engineering, Bureau of Street Services, Bureau of Sanitation, Occupational and Safety, the Fire department and many others. She is also experienced in monitoring and maintaining quality control of project drawings and documentation.

    Trinity Thornton, is responsible for preparing and developing specific construction document drawings, including elevations, sections, and details.

    Trinity Thornton has been a part of Lopez Architects for over 5 years. He has leading skills in architectural drafting, preparing detailed drawings of architectural plans, and specializes in Autocad. His background includes home and design development, interior design, real estate, and permit expediting.

    As principal-in-charge and often as project manager, Mr. Lopez is responsible for the administration, management, and coordination of each project.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Craig J. Lopez, A.I.A., a practicing professional since 1978 has worked at multiple design firms as project manager and lead architect before starting his own practice in 1983. He has extensive knowledge in information technology, design, structural, mechanical, electrical, and construction deficit consulting. He has been a design critic and most importantly a mentor to multiple design professionals. Craig has developed a professional reputation for exceptional technical competence, superior organizational skills, a broad knowledge of local codes and agency requirements and a dedicated personal style which has earned him the loyalty of top-notch consultants and the respect of area contractors. Craig has completed close to 1,000 projects in his career and continues to grow in his creative endeavors.

    David A. Lopez, B.Arch. is responsible for the design, marketing, and production of projects in the firm.

    David A. Lopez brings to the firm expertise in design and working drawings. His experience is based upon a prestigious education from world renowned architects, architectural theorists, and extensive European studies. David has worked for Lopez Architects for 28 years. His expertise is in preliminary design, construction documents, and city review phases for residential and commercial projects. This includes master planning, interior planning, and 3D modeling. He specializes in hillside construction and has had several projects approved through the difficult Design Review Board process. David is also responsible for field observations and day-to-day communication with contractors and developers. David’s main goal is to be present for his clients and adaptable in an ever-changing architectural climate.
